2001 Sundowner Description

2001 Sundowner Trail Blazer 30' 3 Horse 8' Short Wall Trailer. Sleeps 3. AC Unit/Heat Strip and Leveling Jacks. 2001 Sundowner Trailblazer lll 3h trailer with 8' LQ 22,500 Elgin, TX (30 miles East of Austin TX) Fantastic 3 horse Sundowner trailer in very good condition with 8 ft short wall living quarters. I’m the second owner of this trailer, and looked long and hard before I found it - It’s really great. It’s in phenomenal condition and well cared for. I’m only selling because I’m upgrading to a 4 horse. No trades. Trailer: All Aluminum. Trailer is 30 ft long, nose to tail. The gooseneck is 8ft long, and the box is just under 22ft long. Easy to haul, and easy to get in and out of anywhere (assuming you know how to drive). Height: 7 ft tall. Width: 6ft 6 in wide on the interior. This means that walls are straight, and you don’t have any wheel wells inside the horse box. Width: 6ft 6 in wide on the interior. This means that walls are straight, and you don’t have any wheel wells inside the horse box. The stalls are still nice and big, since they are angled differently than they are in an 8ft wide trailer. If you didn’t know the age of the trailer - you’d never guess. Tires: Two are relatively new, and two are older. Spare tire is in good condition. Has outside ties, and has outside bucket hooks, so you can leave your horse with water if he is tied up at a show for quite a while. I have keys for all of the locks. It has running boards, and has a handle by the door to help you get in when you’re all tuckered out. Living Quarters: Living quarters is super clean and looks almost brand new. I know that’s hard to believe, but the lady I got it from was immaculate, and traveled mostly by herself to shows, so it never had kids in it, and was barely used. I’ve used it for hauling horses, and not used the LQ. The trailer was winterized and everything works. Electric Jack (yay!) 8ft short wall living quarter Queen Bed. Dinette booth with table for 2 people. Folds down to make bed (bed for kid or short person) Window by dinette slides open to pass through coffee to and food to people outside (hopefully you know them). Large (7cf) Fridge and freezer, that run on propane or electric. 2 propane tanks and 2 gas burner stove Microwave Divided sink in kitchen Nice cabinets. Stereo system with cassette player. Has screen doors (main door and bath) Both screens are in good condition. Air conditioning and heat. A/C runs cold, and will freeze you out. Battery is new this summer, in July 2017. Antenna mounted on roof for a TV. (Does not have a TV) Hanging storage in nose of trailer and in closet under microwave. Storage above dinette, above sink, under counter, under fridge and in step to climb into bed. Bathroom: Shower and toilet are separate. Overhead vent in bathroom Walk-thru from bathroom to horse area. Bathroom door is pleated vinyl. If you have to fart, and the people that you are with don’t know that you fart, then you will not want them in the trailer, or they myth will be busted… or else you have to put on Bon Jovi and crank the radio up. Horse area: 3 horse with dividers. Dividers are removable. Lower stud divider on first stall. Stalls are 94 inches long. Stud Stall is 37.5 in wide, other stalls are 33 in wide. Oversized drop down windows on head. Head windows also have bus windows that slide, and have screens over the drop-down, to keep your horse form poking his head out. Bus windows (sliding) on butt side and on rear. Overhead vents and fans in stall area. Back of trailer opens up completely, making it extremely versatile. Rear tack is collapsible, so you can haul 4-wheelers or anything other toys ;) Tack area has blanket bar, and and extra hooks to hang bridles and halters. Saddle rack with space for 3 saddles, swings out, and is removable. Has interior lights and load lights. Hauling: The lady I got the trailer from was hauling it with a 3/4 ton. I am hauling it with a 1 ton truck, because that’s what I drive. You do not want to try to haul it with a 1/2 ton truck. I’m not sure how much it weighs. Things that could be improved: A couple of the running lights need bulbs replaced. Bearings have not been repacked in the last 9 months. The rubber bumper by the loading door for the horses has a few nicks in it. One of the curtain holders in the dinette is broken at the bottom, but curtains still stay in place relatively well. One shelf in the bath is missing a front lip, but holds things fine. You will need a padlock for the tack area. Does not have: Does not have a generator. Does not have slide-out. Does not have sofa. Does not have an awning. Does not have sink in bathroom. Does not have mangers. Does not have a ramp. Does not have a crazy payment. Does not come with breakfast in bed.
